How to dye your hair with Kool-Aid

Dying your hair with kool-aid

I have seen tutorials for how to dye your hair with kool-aid several times and always thought that it looked cool.  So a few days ago I decided to try it.  It worked great, the color came through, it didn’t take TOO long, it was pretty straight forward, and it had great results!  Considering how easy and fun it was, I decided to do a tutorial on it so here is how to temporarily dye your hair with kool-aid!

What you need:

-4 packs of unsweetened kool-aid in whichever color you like

-water

-pan

-plastic cup

-stirring spoon

1.  Wash your hair so that the kool-aid will better stick to your hair.

2.  Heat up about a cup of water in a pan, and when it starts to boil turn off the heat and let it cool for two minutes.

3.  Slowly mix together small portions of kool-aid and water till you get the color that you like.  *Don’t let it be too thick or watery, but anywhere in between is perfect.

4.  Kool-aid stains, so when you put it in your hair I suggest being in the shower to minimize the possibility of staining.  Put the hair you want to dye in the cup and let it sit for around 10-20 minutes till you are sure the color has soaked in.

5.  Rinse out the remaining kool-aid that is in your hair with COLD water (so that the color doesn’t leave your hair that has soaked in.)  Keep rinsing till the water that comes off your hair is clear again.

6.  Let your hair dry, and enjoy your new color!  Kool Aid Dip DyeThe color will last about two hair washes, it’s nice that it is only temporary so you can try out a few different colors without worrying about not liking it.  This is such an easy, cheap, and fun way to spice up your hair.  Make sure that you try it this summer because it is a lot of fun!  Dip Dyehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NU9J2pRG9aI
