Travel look back of 2013

100th post!

His everyone! I’m proud to announce that I am on my 100th blog post today! Since I started this blog I’ve been to so many different states, countries, and villages. I’ve made many new friends, and I’ve learned lots about the different cultures I’ve spent time around.

I’ve loved traveling around the world and I hope I can continue to travel throughout my life.

I think it’s time that I share with everyone my favorite places around the world and why I love them.

5. Tangier, Morocco
Honestly is there anything better than experiencing a new culture? That’s Tangier with camel rides, amazing moroccan food, and outdoor markets it was an incredible experience. It’s one of those places that opens your mind. And spending time in the different culture is eye opening.

4. Tourrettes-Sur-Loup, France
Also known as The City Of Violets Tourrettes-Sur-Loup is one of those places that it hard to forget. With its medieval charm and amazing views, and don’t forget the famous violet ice cream! Tourrettes-Sur-Loup is one of those must see’s in France.

3. Istria, Croatia
Truffles, paragliding, and swimming oh my! The Istrian region of Croatia is amazing. The history, island cruises, and medieval villages Istria has it all! You can’t go through Istria without trying truffles, and once you do you’ll never be able to have pasta plain again! The Adriatic sea is turquoise and crystal clear. And the history throughout all of Istria will be fascinating to learn.

2. Bruges, Belgium
For a girl who loves chocolate, Bruges is home to my favorite chocolate (dark chocolate honeydew). Chocolate shops on every street, canals running through the city, and being a just plain stunning town Bruges is fantastic.

1. Andalucía, Spain
I can’t say enough about Andalucía Spain. It’s impossible to name just one place in this region that was the best. Ronda, Seville, Nerja, ALL the little sugar cube villages I loved it all! If I had to say my favorite it would be the charming little villages with orange tree lined cobblestone streets, white houses with the trademark red roofs, and small shops with locally fresh produce have stolen my heart forever.
