What is the Serpent’s Shadow about?

Today I just finished the book The Serpent’s Shadow by Rick Riordan. The book was  fabulous I already know  I will be re-reading it again soon. The Serpents Shadow is the third book in the series The Kane Chronicles. It is told in the voices of sister and brother Sadie and Carter Kane who have the blood of the pharaohs.

The series is one that makes Egyptian mythology come to life in the modern day. The plot begins with the serpent Apophis  Lord of chaos is rising and it is up to Sadie and Carter to save their world while taking many  twists and turns . The end of the book was by far my favorite part with the last surprise leaving you hanging and drooling to read more! I can’t wait for the next Rick Riordan book to come out. The Serpent’s Shadow is defiantly worth reading .

Rick Riordan is one of my all time favorite writers the way he describes characters makes you feel like you already ready know them. He describes the scenery so it practically peels of the page. If you haven’t read one of his books before you really should!
