The Cheese Factory

Considering that Gruyère is famous for it’s cheese there was no way I could miss visiting Le Gruyère Cheese Factory.  To go to their website click here.

After buying tickets for 14.50 euros per adult.  You get an audio guide that tells you how the cheese is made.  You get to watch the making of the cheese as well.  You are also given a small sample of 6 month aged Gruyère, 8 month aged Gruyère, and 10 month aged Gruyère (may favorite was the 10 month aged Gruyère).  Afterwords, you can go to the gift shop to buy a wedge of Gruyère.
