Book Review: The Noticer

The Noticer by Andy Andrews

The Noticer, Sometimes, all a person needs is a little perspective.  I just finished reading The Noticer by Andy Andrews.  Based on the early  years of the authors life, from before he became a best seller.  This is a book I know I will be re-reading at least once every year.  It was heartwarming, an easy read, with amazing advice, another perfect story by Andy Andrews, and a perspective on life that everyone should be exposed to.

The book starts with Andy homeless and in sorrow.  When an old man comes over and talks to him “‘I am a noticer’ he said.  ‘It is my gift. While others may be able to sing or run fast, I notice things that other people overlook. And you know, most of them are in plain sight.'”  Later after Andy has taken the noticers advise to heart and is now having a successful life, Andy meets the the noticer again….  Throughout the story you meet new people who’s lives the noticer has touched.  It’s a truly heartwarming well told story, that sheds perspective that truly has simply been overlooked.  🙂
