Tips and Tricks at the San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo is huge. There are so many animals it takes at least 3 days to see it all.

If you ever go to the zoo there are a few things you will need to know. The best time to go is while schools are going because there will be less people. Also, food and drinks are very expensive there. So, bring some sandwiches and a water bottle to snack on. But, if you bring too much you may have to leave some things at the front desk.

However, there is one thing that may be worth buying at the shops. The souvenir sipper which is about $10. When you buy this cup you get free refills of soda or water the day you buy it. After that day you get free refills of water or .99 refills of soda. So, this is a good buy if you are going to be at the zoo for a while. This cup also works at the San Diego Safari Zoo.

This zoo is amazing. If you are ever in San Diego make sure you stop by the zoo for a few days. You will be so happy you did! And make sure you bring a camera! 🙂
