Check out beautiful Ronda
It’s obvious that Ronda is breathtaking, but its more than that. The city of Ronda has tons of amazing history as well as being home to many beautiful architectural wonders. Ronda is one of those places that just oozes charm, from the friendly people that live there to the beauty of the city.
The New Bridge Ronda
Isn’t that amazing? This is the bridge that joins Old town and New town over Tajo gorge. The new bridge was completed in 1793 after 40 years of construction. However The new bridge is not the first, in 1735 a bridge was built in eight months which lasted only six years. The new bridge however still stands tall and proud.
Bullfighting Spain
Ronda is also home to a bullring which happens to be one of the oldest in Spain. Even though I’m not a fan of what happens in a bull fight I did really enjoy visiting the bullring and the museums inside. It costs €6.50 to get into the bullring and the other museums included.
The Arab Baths Ronda
The Arab baths were very interesting to learn about and beautiful to see. The architecture was stunning as well. The video on how the baths were used and worked while being inside the building was really cool.
Walking Around Ronda
Just walking around Ronda was wonderful. Buying a picnic lunch at one of the little shops and enjoying a picnic in the park by the bullring was lots of fun. Then, walking around Ronda and enjoying the city for a few hours really helps you get a feel for the beautiful city. After experiencing the city, a hike down to the bottom of The new bridge is truly amazing. Make sure you bring a camera because the views are spectacular. Just remember on your hikes you always have to go back up again! 😉 After the hike grabbing an cold beverage is practically a must. From there well, its up to you.
I loved Ronda, it was one of those places that makes you pinch yourself, its truly stunning. Then, looking back at your photos and being able to say “I was there!” will really make you feel like a world traveler. 🙂
That Cool Love it! Love you guys!
